Colophon
Design lineage, archival media credits, and descriptive use of historical names.
HUBris is the publication surface for Origami, an unofficial preservation and emulator-development project for the SGI SN0 and SN1 family. Origin 200 is the first system up. The project is not affiliated with Silicon Graphics or its successors.
Design lineage
The front door borrows the visual language of the 1996 Silicon Graphics WebFORCE campaign: a Netscape-era browser frame, blunt signs, product photography, and slightly improbable landscape compositing. Articles open in a separate IRIX 6.5 InSight-style reader. The site does not claim to be a historical SGI product or an SGI publication.
Front-door campaign field
The front door uses a campaign field cropped from the 1999 Silicon Graphics Origin 200 Scalable Multiprocessing Server Product Guide. It retains the guide’s Origin 200 system, letterforms, scientific imagery, and small system views. Fal removed only the page background; the source guide remains separately identified in the media attribution record.
